Police Declare Portable Wanted: You Won't Believe Why

Portable

The Ogun State Police Command has declared music artiste Habeeb Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, wanted over alleged violent attacks on officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. This development comes after Portable allegedly led a gang of nine thugs in a violent attack on unarmed government officials, leaving them with various bodily injuries

According to the police, the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. The officials encountered an elderly man, later identified as Portable's father, at Odogwu Bar in the area. However, moments later, Portable allegedly appeared on the scene, armed with a firearm and other dangerous weapons, and led the violent attack on the officials.

The police stated that nine accomplices were arrested, but Portable fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Despite multiple formal invitations to report to the police command headquarters, Portable ignored the requests without cause or legal representation.

As a result, the Ogun State Police Command obtained a valid court order declaring Portable wanted. The police are urging members of the public to assist in locating Portable by providing any valuable information that can lead to his immediate arrest. Anyone found aiding or harboring the suspect will face legal consequences.

Portable has made several videos on social media apologizing to the state government over the violent act. However, the police insist that he must face the law.

The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that a valid court order has been issued for Portable's arrest. The command's spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, stated that the police will do everything possible to ensure that justice is served.

In a statement, the police command warned that anyone found aiding or harboring Portable will face legal consequences. The command urged members of the public to report any information regarding Portable's whereabouts to the nearest police station or contact the Ogun State Police Command through its official communication channels.
